Our mission is to assist Aitkin and neighboring communities in effectively recycling materials for sustainable reuse. We aim to educate residents about the importance of recycling, provide resources and support for proper disposal methods, and facilitate local recycling initiatives that contribute to a healthier environment and a more sustainable future. By working together, we can reduce waste and promote the responsible use of our resources.

What Can I Recycle?Recycling Schedule
Residential Recycling Collection is Every Other Week. Holidays that will affect pickup days are:
- New Years Day
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Recycling pickup for these holidays will be delayed one day. If we did not pick you up this week we will next week.
